"Partial shade"
(Also "light shade" or
"half shade") is an
environment
that receive less then a half day of direct
sunlight or a filtered sunlight situation
such as beneath a
canopy of shade
trees in summer.
Partial shade is indicated for plant
species which require
protection from prolonged hot sun, but which will
tolerate
some degree of full summer sun . Often these
species prefer morning sun and
afternoon shade.See
