  Generally indicate a perennial plant losing its leaves constantly or annually at the end of the growing season.  
     

(2) Deciduous  [ Botany ]

     
  Falling seasonally applied to any organ of a plant (e.g. the leaves or bark of some trees or the annual shoots of caudiciform plants or, of the calyx or corolla, abscising and falling completely from the flower).  
 

(compare with accrescent, caducuous, persistent, deliquescent, fugacious, marcescent )

(3) "Semi"-deciduous  [ Botany ]
